KLE Society

Established on November 13, 1916, by seven visionaries known as the "Saptarishis," the Karnataka Lingayat Education (KLE) Society was founded with the mission to transform education in North Karnataka. Rooted in values of service and dedication, KLE has grown into a prominent institution, now encompassing over 310 institutions and 16 hospitals across Karnataka. These institutions offer a broad spectrum of academic programs, ranging from early education to post-doctoral studies, and cater to more than 138,000 students annually. KLE’s diverse academic offerings span disciplines such as healthcare, agriculture, engineering, IT, law, hospitality, business, and many more, making it a hub for holistic learning and development.

Central to KLE’s mission is the pursuit of individual learning, fostering societal change through education. Over 18,000 dedicated faculty members are committed to delivering quality education and healthcare, further enriched by KLE's international partnerships with top universities worldwide. These collaborations bring a global perspective to its curriculum, making KLE an attractive destination for students from varied backgrounds.

In 2006, KLE reached a milestone when its higher education branch, the KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, was recognized as a Deemed-to-be-University by the UGC. This achievement underscored KLE's dedication to innovation and excellence in education and healthcare practices.

With a century-long legacy of service, KLE Society remains committed to providing world-class infrastructure, accessible to all. As it continues this journey, KLE celebrates the dedication of its community and honours the contributions of everyone who helped shape it into a beacon of knowledge, health, and societal transformation. Welcome to the KLE Society,                 a symbol of educational excellence and a powerful agent of change.
